Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a lecture or seminar usually take?

All of our lectures and seminars are customized to the need of individual clients. Depending on the scope of the materials presented in the lecture, and depending on the size of your security staff, the seminar may have to be split into two groups or more and may take a couple of days. The goal of our seminars is to train your staff and to give them enough time to absorb all the materials. So, it is not in your best interest to overwhelm your staff with too much information crammed into a shot timeframe. It is best to give the attendees enough time to ask questions, take notes, and digest all the information.

How many people can attend your seminars at one time?

We recommend that you limit the attendance in groups of about 20 to 30 people at a time.

Precisely how does your casino security audit work?

In the interest of maintaining a high level of security this information is not shared publicly. All the aspects of the security audit are discussed on need-to-know basis, solely with a few key people at your casino. The security audit is then conducted exactly as has been agreed with your heads of security.

Should dealers and pit bosses be trained in how to detect cheating?

It is not in the best interest of any casino to expose dealers to any cheating strategies. It is recommended that only casino security staff should be trained in how to detect cheating. Floor personnel, on the other hand, should only be trained in how to follow proper procedures and maximize efficiency.

Who conducts your lectures, seminars and security audits?

All the lectures, seminars and security audits are conducted by our company president, personally. If needed we also hire third-party speakers and contractors.

Why do you not include any biographical information of your company president, in any of your promotional materials?

Due to the nature of our work it is in everyone's best interest to maintain a high level of privacy. Our clients deal directly with our company president and information is shared on need-to-know basis, but no personal information about our company president is ever shared to the public. If we need to conduct a security audit, or need to infiltrate with suspect players in your casino, it is in your best interest that only a few key people at your casino know the identity of our company president. On the other hand, if personal information and photos were publicly available, it may completely compromise the integrity of any possible undercover operation. In other words, we work on a similar model as law enforcement agencies that use undercover agents.

Do you work with law enforcement?

We do not. We only provide consulting services for the gaming industry.

Why do your security seminars include information and materials that may seem outdated?

Regardless of the field of endeavor, any expert should have as much knowledge as possible, to be considered a true expert. This means that your security personnel should be at least familiar with some of the cheating techniques of the past. Many times old techniques have taken casinos by surprise because no one was prepared to spot them. We teach you everything, so that you have a broad knowledge.
